A MESSAGE FROM THE KASS FAMILY

Dear Friends

We are writing to thank you for actualising the dream of our dearest Husband, Son, Father and Brother. Shmuli, or Rabbi Shmuli as he was affectionately known by his Shenley congregants would have been so excited to see the hard work and effort to teach Torah and wisdom in Hertsmere, come to fruition.

Shmuli cared. He was a teacher of wisdom and a believer in the goodness of the individual. He believed that every Jew has potential; every Jew can learn and be great. Every moment of his day, every part of his being was focused on showing others how beautiful Judaism is, how privileged we are to be Jews. That was his whole life. He did not judge. Who ever you were, wherever you came from, he welcomed you with open arms.
 
It was his vision, his dream, to build a place of learning, a place of growth, a place where the Jews of Hertsmere could come together and be inspired in an atmosphere of acceptance and unity.

He would have been so proud to know that you have taken his dream and turned it into a reality.

Thank you for enabling his legacy to live on, in building a better world.
